  The staff is great and very friendly! Went out of their way to assist with an minor issue I had with an installation request for a garage door opener. Everyone was very promp in calling us to set up the installation and inspection. Plus they were less expensive then their competitor for the same product. I appreciate what the staff does daily!

  I'm normally a huge fan of Lowe's. The one in Anchorage, AK was phenomenal, however I was not impressed with this store and will never return. I purchased an 8x10 area rug. On the display, it had it listed as on clearance for $100 off. I purchased the same color as the display that was marked and the associate that loaded it into my cart even commented on what a good deal I was getting. When I went to pay, it rang up full price. The cashier called over her supervisor (who was quite rude and condescending), who said the clearance was for a different color. I told her how that may be confusing since the color on display that marked for clearance was the same color I was purchasing at full price. The clearance color wasn't even on the floor. If you're going to mark a display for clearance, make sure you have the correct color on display. In some states, if an item is incorrectly marked, the customer gets the price it's marked at. Apparently attention to detail and customer service are foreign ideas to this particular store. In addition to this, I asked about military discount, which is something they've always offered for Active Duty. I was told that they have a new policy where you have to be registered in the system before they can apply the discount, but the cashier told me I could go to customer service, register, and then they'll refund me the discount. NOPE. I showed them my receipt and said that they were unable to reimburse me for the discount. Honestly, if you're going to be that rude and unaccomodating to our active duty military, maybe you should completely nix the discount program altogether. So now, I'm currently sitting in my car, debating on whether or not to return everything. As much as I want the items I purchased, this Lowe's does not deserve the money. Do yourself a favor and shop at Home Depot. I will no longer be shopping at Lowe's. I'm someone who will gladly pay extra if it means better service.

  Always love this store. I can't visit without buying something. If you are military or a veteran, you can check with customer service and show them military ID or dd214 and they save your phone number so you can get the discount.

  Great location for easy access from Amy direction. This store always appears to have a good amount of customers at all times of the day. This trip, I had a sheet of MDF cut down for a special project. Easy in and out. Thanks.
